Janardhan a 28 year old Kannada Lecturer from Mangalore who is quite an introvert comes to know from an astrologer that he would attain sanyasa (embrace asceticism) if he doesn't get married within a year. Hearing this Janardhan is now in a situation of trouble & desperation as he has never had a decent conversation with females until now in his life & all the proposals his family has seen also has gone in vain as he doesn't look great,physically. Janardhan continues his search for a beautiful bride. In this journey he faces various situations & conflicts which in turn gives him a chance to revisit his inner core & experience his self discovery. The Slum Stars
The film is about a gang of innocent abandoned kids named Kahaniya, Gudiya and Chandu who lead troubled lives in the slums. The Child trafficker Ghutan, a local don and his keep Surma, use their terror to sell these kids. Ghutan is controlled by a bogus Swami, a criminal who fakes himself as a spiritual leader. Swami is led by Netaji, a greedy politician who has an upper hand in all the crimes. When Gudiya becomes one of the victim, forced by Surma into sexual exploitation, these kids decide to run away from these people, who are trying to destroy their lives. They somehow travel from the city through dusty roads that lead them into a village in Rajasthan where they meet a Ghost. This ghost then helps the kids to teach Ghutan, Surma, Netaji and other criminal a lesson through his powers.

Gowtham is a geeky loner with hardly any social connections, though he was a jovial guy while at college. His parents, being worried about his extreme changes, attempt to bring back his old self with the help of Gowtham’s friends from college days.
