Modhi Vilayadu
Modhi Vilayadu is a Tamil language film released on 24 July 2009. It stars Vinay Rai and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles. The film opened to mixed reviews with Indiaglitz.com rating it highly while Behindwoods said "The game lacks excitement". The film was a flop at the box office. The Film's plot involving heroine is based on the korean movie 100 Days with Mr. Arrogant.

DD and Chinna are are brought up in an orphanage. They are very fond of Saraswatamma who took care of them. Saraswatamma is very good at preparing tamarind rice (pulihora). DD wants to start a pulihora center on the memory of Saraswatamma when he grows up. He needs 7 lacs for that. In order to earn the money, he joins a mafia gang. Pragati is the daughter of a billionaire politician. She is kind hearted and runs a charity organization. She comes to know that a landlord in a village has bought most of the lands forcibly from the village men. Court asks the farmers to pay 4 crores together to regain their lands. When Pragati realized that her father has gone against her wish of helping those farmers, her friend sketches a self-kidnap plan to demand 4 crores as ransom. And things go wrong when DD and Chinna kidnap her at the same time when she is supposed to be self-kidnapped. Madly Bangalee is a Bengali rock band that inspires the film’s title. They rehearse in a dowdy garage of Kolkata, owned by Bobby (Lew Hilt), who owns Bobby’s Garage. Four young boys with stardust in their eyes practise their numbers not knowing what they are really aiming at. But the garage is under threat from a South Kolkata don Baburam (Chandan Sen). One morning, an elderly man, San (Anjan Dutt), arrives from "America and Paris." Baaji, (Sumit) the drummer who is a Muslim had to drop out of school. He escapes from the trap of turning a terrorist like his older brother Sultan. He later becomes a police officer who bashes up everyone who tries to bribe him. Neon (Tanaji) plays the rhythm guitar but, sucked into the world of drugs, he disappears from the face of the earth with his guitar. Pablo, lead singer, bass guitarist and lyricist, leaves for the US and the group breaks up. Bobby dies.

This is a story of a boy and girl who meet for the first time in an airport and fall in love before they board their respective flights. Dhruv is the boy and Harika is the girl. Both of them are two distinctive individuals. Dhruv is a kind of boy who loves to take chances in life. Right now she is on her way to INDIA to meet a prospective groom whom her parents have chosen for her. Dhruv falls in love at first sight with Harika when he sees her in airport. But he has only two hours to make her fall in love with him. The rest of the story is all about how he succeeds in it.
